I have been cardmaking for roughly 10yrs and I craft most days. I am totally addicted to cardmaking and buying supplies lol
I only started blogging in June 2012 and I wish I had started earlier as I have made many blogging friends and my cardmaking has improved greatly and you can always learn.

Meet The Design Team: Cass

My name is Carol, but on the world wide web usually known as Cass, I live in Victoria, Australia near the coast.  Married with 2 children and 3 grandchildren.  Have crafted all my life.  Mum started teaching me needlework at the age of 4, I love collage, so a lot of my projects are 3d, I also love to do small pieces such as ATCs and Fat pages. I sketch, still do needlework, love doing junk journals, great excuse for collecting bits and pieces. Always on the lookout for new techniques.

I am currently studying childcare which finishes in June and work 2 mornings a week in a local playgroup for my placement and the other 3 morning at a local pet food manufacturers.  This is my first time being part of a design team and liking it so far and looking forward to many more challenges.

Meet The Design Team: Janice

My name is Janice Coble and I am SOOOO excited to be a part of the Brown Sugar Challenge Blog.

I currently reside in a suburb southwest of Chicago, I have been married for 14 years to my wonderful DH Mike and I have adult twin men (yikes am I that old?!).  I work full-time as an Administrative Assistant for a large scientific research laboratory.  In my spare time I love gardening and growing things and I bowl twice a week.

I have been crafting most of my life when, as a young child of 9 yo, a neighbor taught me to crochet, which I still do today.  I have tried everything from needle-point to picture framing and about 7 years ago was introduced to the wonderful world of card making by a co-worker and I was hooked!  I don't have a particular style as I love a variety of looks.  If I had to choose a favorite technique it would be distress and embossing and I love color (even after I failed coloring in kindergarten... lol) but give me bright and colorful paper, ribbon and flowers and I am one happy camper.

Thanks to Kim and the rest of the BSC DT for having me along for the ride!

Meet The Design Team: Gail

Hi, my name is Gail Scott. I am married to the love of my life, Richard Alan who is supportive of my crafting adventures. My first taste of card making was introduced to me by my dear friend Susan in 2011 when she brought her metal embossing plates and stylus to our Patch of Friends sewing group one evening.  I never thought that introduction would lead me to a purchase of a Cricut Machine and Cuttlebug the following year in July of 2012.

My blog, http://ilikepaper01.blogspot.com/, which was created at the end of August in 2012, opened up a whole new world for me. I was amazed at all of the opportunities available to enter my cards and projects in various challenges.

These past seven months have been a wonderful adventure for me in the world of crafting.  Not only have I been introduced to various crafting supplies and stretched to learn new techniques, I have met many creative crafters from all over the world. In addition, I have been blessed by the encouragement I have received from the positive postings to my blog from the many visitors that stop by. Blogging in the crafting world is a very courteous route to travel.

I am very blessed and honored to be part of Brown Sugar Challenge Design team. It will truly be a fun ride being a member of this team.
